Wall Mount Range Hood Carbon Filter - Ventless / Ductless Recirculating Kit
Please note that all parts (replacement, chimney, or carbon filters) are all final sale. We do not accept any returns or refunds. No exceptions.
What are carbon filters?
The function of a range hood is to provide proper kitchen ventilation by taking in smoke, grease, odors, and other kitchen pollutants that arise from cooking and direct them outside your home. Not all homes have a kitchen duct leading outside though, and it may not be practical to install one. For these types of kitchens, your range hood can be converted into a ductless model that cleans the air and recirculates it back into your kitchen. These ductless range hoods work by using carbon filters to absorb atmospheric pollutants within the air it intakes before it is sent back out into the kitchen. Depending on the frequency and type of cooking, carbon filters need to be replaced every 6 - 12 months.
Instruction on finding the right model number:
You can purchase chimney extensions, carbon filters, and other parts and accessories from us for your range hood, but in order to find the right part to match your specific model, we would need to know the model number or product id(PID). If you have difficulties locating the model number, please contact our customer service.
Your range hood’s model number and PID can be found on the exterior of the box your range hood was packaged in.
If you no longer have the box, the model number is also listed within your range hood. Remove the filters and locate the manufacturer’s note, which can be found on either the back of the motor or on the interior walls. Your range hood’s model number will be listed as the first item of the technical specifications.
*This recirculating kit will only work for range hoods that sold by AKDY & Golden Vantage.
